As you can see, I have been spending a fair bit of time doing Assaults. I have a semi-static – that is 4+ people who try and fit in where we can. The aim is for us to clear as many as possible, getting the rank ups and working towards captain. We can get the points in each area, and if we are close to an item, we will work towards it. At least that is the theory.
We have been clearing some of the more annoying early ones for Tilion (and for ourselves) – yesterday’s being Lebros Supplies. We started with four people and just didn’t have enough, so failed. But second run, we grabbed two more, and managed to clear it – though not without a few deaths! Sagelord Elimination was also a fun one – involving a full wipe but STILL managing to clear it. One of the few times I have needed to sub summoner! As you can see, I haven’t actually cleared that many of them, but still managed to work up to Sergeant. Comes from absolutely spamming Preemptive Strike for various people’s Amir Boots! I estimate I have cleared that one in excess of 25 times, possibly nearer 30… and I still have to do it again for Dense and Bayan! I’m currently 12/25 though Sergeant – if people want to run some reruns through the week, I might take a couple so I can get up to 15 points.
Otherwise, I’ve been doing a combination of questing – as you can see, I am getting through the Windy quests, meriting – I have decided to totally finish rdm job specific merits, and am down to 13 to go to finish, and levelling a new job – in this case, bard, which I am enjoying. In between the normal events and stuff anyway!
